Sept.When an officer arrived, he immediately noticed that the front glass door to the home was standing open and the front entry door was forced open.Once a backup unit arrived, officers checked the interior of the home but did not find any suspects inside.When the homeowner arrived, she determined that a television and a speaker were stolen.A witness told police that he saw a black suv, possibly a gmc, with dark tinted windows in the driveway.

Sept.A circular saw was reported stolen.About an hour after the burglary was reported, the stolen circular saw was found along with other stolen items.Along with the circular saw, a portable generator, a stereo and a case of miller lite were found in the 400 block of golden leaf.The generator was removed from a garage in the 400 block of golden leaf.During the burglary a set of stereos, a case of beer and other miscellaneous items were stolen.

Sept.Witnesses called police when they observed suspicious activity in the 4400 block of fm 2351.Witnesses said that they saw a white male wearing a black hat, black polo style shirt and black pants exiting the feed store and then hide behind a stack of wood near the front door.When police arrived, they checked around the store but were unable to locate the suspect.A police k 9 tracked the suspect direct of travel into a large wooded area behind the business but the suspect was nowhere to be found.When the business owner arrived, he discovered that the bank bag was missing with an undetermined amount of cash and checks.

Sept.Castlewood drive reported a case of identity theft.Unknown persons opened a credit account using the victim identifying information.

Sept.Reported identity theft.A witness called police after a man in a silver honda or mercedes called her over to give him directions near the intersection of white wing and falcon ridge.As the witness approached the suspect car, she noticed that the man was not wearing pants.The suspect vehicle drove away going south on falcon ridge.Officers checked the area polo su misura but were unable to locate the suspect.He is described as a white male, 25 35 years of age and, at the time he was wearing a striped shirt with a collar and a dark blue baseball cap.
Sept.Hall also had a warrant for his arrest charging him with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1.An officer noticed hall standing outside the kroger store located at 200 s.Gulf freeway in league city.The officer knew that hall had a felony warrant for his arrest.The officer approached him and took him into custody.As the officer checked hall pockets, he found two bags of methamphetamine weighing 7.4 grams.
Sept.Smith was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for expired registration in the 100 block of n.Friendswood drive.The driver appeared to be nervous, handed the officer his driver license but did not want to look for his insurance card in the glove box.The officer asked smith for his identification.Smith said that he did not have any identification and identified himself as lee johnson.The officer was suspicious about the truthfulness of smith because he was hesitant while providing a date of birth.The driver exited the vehicle and was talking with the officer.He told the officer that he only knew the passenger as chris and provided consent to search his vehicle.The officer contacted smith again, but this time smith reached into his back pocket and produced his identification card with his correct name on it.The officer took smith into custody for failure to identify and then searched his pockets.The officer found two marijuana pipes in smith front pocket.
Sept.Officers were dispatched to a minor accident in the 400 block of mary creek lane.While the officer was enroute, he was told that friendswood ems was being dispatched because the driver appeared to be disoriented and confused.When the officer arrived, he spoke with witnesses who observed toups hit a parked car.After friendswood ems finished their assessment of toups, they told police that toups appeared to be intoxicated and was refusing transport to the hospital.The officer contacted toups and requested her driver license.As she dug in her purse to find her license, the officer observed two small bottles contained a pink liquid.Toups did not have her driver license and admitted to have a couple of bottles of wine.Toups failed a field sobriety test and refused a breath test.Inside toups vehicle, officers saw four empty bottles of wine along with two half empty bottles.
Sept.Joseph lee taylor, 57, of pearland, and brenda diane davis, 61, of league city, were charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.A motorist reported a reckless driver in the 1400 block of w.Parkwood avenue.The suspect vehicle was located in the 2600 block of w.Parkwood followed by the caller who told police that the vehicle was swerving all over the road.The officer got behind the vehicle and he also witnessed the vehicle swerve outside the lane and onto the shoulder.As the officer approached the driver, he observed her to appear lethargic and noticed that there were two children inside the vehicle.Myers was asked to exit the vehicle.As she opened the driver side door, the officer observed a plastic bag with a pill inside.The pill was identified as hydrocodone.Myers failed a field sobriety test and consented to a blood test.While one officer was dealing with the driver, another officer interviewed two adult passengers.Taylor was the front seat passenger and was unconscious when the officer approached the passenger side of the vehicle.One of the children reached over and unlocked the door so that the officer could attempt to awaken taylor by shaking his arm.Taylor eventually opened up his eyes but was extremely intoxicated.Davis was passed out in the back of the van.She was also extremely intoxicated and had no idea where she was at.Taylor and davis were taken into custody.During an inventory of the van, officers found a glass marijuana pipe.Taylor and davis claimed ownership of the pipe.
Sept.Bay area blvd.The victim told police that he was pulling out of the wendy drive thru when oltsik pulled into the parking lot in her white lexus.Oltsik hit the left side of the victim bumper and never stopped.The victim provided the license plate number to the lexus and it returned to an address in the 3300 block of prince george.Once the officer made contact with the registered owner, they were able to determine that oltsik was the driver of the vehicle.Officers then found out that oltsik was now passed out in her boyfriend apartment located at 2701 w.Bay area blvd.Officers went to the bay brook village apartments, located the suspect vehicle, confirmed the damage to the vehicle and contacted oltsik.Oltsik told officers that she left the scene of the accident because she think it was any big deal.Olsik appeared to be under the influence of some type of narcotic and was taken into custody.
Warrants were issued for the arrest of nicole lynn walko, 32, of houston and anthony wayne motley, 29, of tomball, charging them with possession of stolen property.Walko and motley pawned items they had stolen following an august 22 burglary of a building in 1300 block of deepwood.During the burglary a weed eater, mower and floor jack were stolen.All three items were retrieved from a houston pawnshop and will be returned to the owner.Once the warrants were signed by a judge, officers arrested walko at a family member home in the sagemont subdivision.Motley is currently incarcerated in the brazoria county jail where he is being held on a parole violation warrant.
National night out will be held on tuesday, october 1, 2013.
Last year national night out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials.National night out is a wonderful opportunity for communities to promote police community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie.While the one night is certainly not an answer to crime, drugs and violence, national night out represents the kind of spirit, energy and determination to help make neighborhoods a safer place year round.The night celebrates safety and crime prevention successes and works to expand and strengthen programs.
